I’m Marcia King, and for the last 25 years, I’ve traveled the world working in finance and accounting leadership for dozens of companies of all shapes, sizes, and industries. Now, I’m offering the experience I’ve accumulated over that time to help businesses level up their own financial infrastructure.

I grew up in small-town Nebraska, and earned my degree in accounting and international business from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. As an undergrad, I discovered a passion for world travel during an exchange program in Japan. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to pursue this interest further in an early-career role at Deloitte, where I helped expand the firm’s presence in central Europe, leading audit and financial services engagements as well as developing and leading training in Slovenia, Croatia, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Hungary.
In the years since, I’ve held senior-level finance and accounting positions for numerous companies, from early-stage startups to multinational corporations. My responsibilities have run the gamut, including financial management and analysis, forecasting, strategic planning, high-level negotiations, and end-to-end oversight of mergers and acquisitions. I’m a full-spectrum finance and accounting expert with a broad and deep background to draw from.
One of my areas of specialization is mergers and acquisitions (M&A). I’ve led or been part of over 15 M&A transactions valued at more than $2 billion. My experience includes everything from advising both buyers and sellers to overseeing due diligence and ensuring successful post-close integrations. Additionally, I’ve helped secure over $250 million in financing and refinancing deals, and have successfully implemented ERP systems to streamline business operations and improve financial performance.
